Who
Hebrew for the Nations, Corp. was founded by Donnie and Elizabeth Mattos.

This brother-sister duo and their team are on a mission to reach others within the body of Yeshua (Jesus) who desire to grow in their knowledge and love of God through the study of Biblical Hebrew.
​
Both Donnie and Elizabeth are passionate about studying and applying the Scripture to their lives and sharing with others the life-transforming power of Yeshua (Jesus).

Why
In Zephaniah 3:9, the prophet tells of a future time when God will restore His Holy language to the people. This is the heart of Hebrew for the Nations.
​
We believe that language and cultural identity are inseparable. Indeed, perhaps the most identifiable trait of a culture is the language.
​
Our deepest desire is to be a vessel through which God may work to restore His Holy language to the dispersed amongst the nations so we may begin to have our identity restored in preparation for His coming Kingdom.
The Team
Donnie Mattos
Executive Director & Hebrew Instructor
Donnie Mattos is a Bible Teacher at his local congregation who is passionate about studying the Scriptures in the original language of Biblical Hebrew.
​
Donnie's Biblical Hebrew journey began when he was fifteen years old.
What started as an academic pursuit
soon became a lifelong passion.
Using the resources available to him, and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Donnie taught himself Biblical Hebrew. Like our God, however, Biblical Hebrew is eternal, and Donnie considers himself to be a lifelong student.

Hebrew for the Nations, Corp. was born out of Donnie's passion to study Biblical Hebrew, as well as his mission to share it with others.
With over five years of classroom experience in public education, Donnie has a true heart of a teacher. His desire is to help others develop a deeper intimacy with our God through the study of Biblical Hebrew and its application to Scripture and our lives.
Elizabeth Mattos
Administrative & Marketing Director
Elizabeth fell in love with Biblical Hebrew two years ago and is passionate about sharing with others that Biblical Hebrew is the key to unlocking the revelations in the Bible. Like Donnie, she considers herself a lifelong student, and enjoys the adventure of learning.
​
In addition to her work at Hebrew for the Nations, Corp., Elizabeth works as an Administrative Assistant for an irrigation company. She is also an artist, and owns an art business. She paints custom Ketubahs, landscapes, and more.
She also enjoys leading Hebraic dance as a dance leader on her congregation's worship-dance team, playing the violin, and being out in God's creation.
